We are currently recruiting for experienced Subsea Cable Lay Representatives to work on subsea cable network projects for our clients with the probability of ongoing assignments. Successful candidates will be deployed on cable lay vessels during installation activities on cable system projects for major vendors. Site locations will be global with intitial requirement in North Sea / Scandinavian area.

We are looking for motivated, experienced personnel who have previous experience deploying subsea systems. Testing fibre system experience would also be advantageous. lWork requires the ability to show initiative and self-reliance when dealing with unforeseen problems and excellent interpersonal skills. Engineers will be required to follow client specific reporting and testing procedures and work positively with vendor and client to obtain sign off and client acceptance.

 A thorough understanding / experience working in the subsea cabling or related industry.

• Experience in client representation for subsea project installations.
• Certifications for working offshore (including Medical certifications, Seaman's handbook, ENG1/STCW or equivalent) prefered. BOSIET training provided if required
• Other related experience (Installation, testing etc advantageous).
• Willingness to travel globally and to work abroad for extended periods as and when required.

Mandatory requirements

• IT proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office and associated applications.
• Full, clean driving license.
• Full passport with at least 12 months before expiry.
• Possession of a mobile device with international roaming and a working laptop.
