Domestic Services
IndiComm’s Domestic capabilities are wide and varied, with a large number of well qualified contractors, able to cover the entire UK.
Completed projects include the Installation, configuring and commissioning of Chip and Pin devices for a UK wide chain of stores in the retail sector. The installation entailed fault finding, and the replacement if necessary of all associated in-store cabling.
Installation, configuring, fault finding and commissioning of Remote ATM’s utilizing integration of external networks with Cisco 700 and 800 series routers and the local servers installed within the ATM machines.
We have completed major projects for large companies who demand faster and more efficient systems and cost effective technology. These have involved the complete upgrades from old inefficient Legacy switches and routers to new Cisco Catalyst and 2000 series routers giving faster workstation response and VOIP capability. Head Office capacities have been increased utilising Cisco 7000 Series Routers, Blades and Concentrators. All coordinated by the Giant’s IBM and Reliance GlobalCom. We performed the initial Site surveys and carried the project through switch/router and MPLS circuit upgrade, transformation from one service provider to another, IPT phone rollout, to project completion and customer acceptance.
Faster Internet Banking for many businesses has required that they have greater flexibility both in the office and in the field. We have been involved in the complete refurbishment of Desktop PC’s and Laptops for two major UK high street banks. The provision of new upgraded workstations completed with the minimum amount of disruption to staff and customers and with support provided.
We have also had involvement in the BT 21 CN rollout, provision of security cleared engineers to the MOD Dii project, and installation and commissioning work on Heritage sites.
Heritage Work
We also have our engineers deployed on some heritage projects like this one at St Albans School (August 2003) installing the latest data & telephone networks for their IT suites and telephone system.
Heritage work involves being very sensitive and intuitive when finding ways of routing cable in 400 year old buildings, Our engineers are recognised for their dedication to keeping the heritage of buildings intact, that’s why we are the preferred installer of such systems to some nationwide companies.
