INDICOMM GLOBAL PRESS RELEASE

Wi SYSTEMS SHOWCASES WIRELESS SYSTEM

Wi-Systems, the wireless communications division of IndiComm Global Ltd, the Lincolnshire (UK), based advanced communication specialist were approached to help showcase night vision equipment at the OTN Conference and Exhibition managed by Battlespace publications at the National Shooting Centre in Bisley.

Together with leading innovators, IndiComm showcased its own proprietary range of secure, high bandwidth, long range transmission systems. To present the advances in IR lighting systems military landrovers ( from Hobson Industries) were used to drive around a 2 mile circuit in total darkness with only IR lights (from Oxley) which are invisible to the naked eye. The drivers of the vehicles were equiped with night vision goggles (Lucies). IndiComm's remit was to transmit live imagery from the vehicles back to a command centre whilst they were driving around the circuit which at times went though woodland areas and other obstacles to direct transmissions.
