Indicomm have won a prestigious contract to provide the reconnection of the legacy Wi-Fi coverage of the public areas at the Olympic Park.
The post-Games redevelopment of the Olympic Park in East London has thrown up some exciting commercial projects, and the Indicomm Directors have spent months in negotiations for the reconnection and enhancement of the Olympics’ legacy Wi-Fi equipment.
The project brief was to reconnect the legacy WI-FI equipment and to facilitate other coverage areas not previously accessible. Indicomm’s proposed solution is one which all parties are happy with. Indicomm secured the Wi-Fi reconnect contract and are now on site testing the existing system ready for switch-on in the New Year 2014.
The directors said: ‘this is a real feather in our cap. We are building a solid reputation in the Wi-Fi sector and to win a contract in such a high profile location is a real boost for us.

Indicomm has been awarded preferred contractor status with Vodafone Group, with work starting towards the end of 2013 or early in 2014.
